01-Jun-2010 It is with great pride that we announce that we have been named Business of the Year at the recent Joondalup Business Association Gala Awards Night. We have been established in Joondalup over 10 years now and thank the Perth Business community for their custom.

Of course, without a great Team, our business is nothing more than a name above the door. So I would like to publicly thank our Team, for the excellent efforts they have put in to make this business a success. Our success is their success:

Shane Craig - Business Partner and the best Production Manager a Sign Company could hope for. Dedicated, focussed, results oriented, and a stickler for deadlines, I could not ask for more. Well having said that, the site of his skinny white legs sticking out the bottom of his work shorts and then disappearing in to his steel cap work boots is a site the world could do without, but nobody's perfect!

Richard Angerson - Business Partner and heads up the sales team. Excellent attention to detail and drive. Fantastic on larger scale pylon signage, Project Management and shop fit outs. If the job needs to be done, and Richard commits to doing it, then it will be done. Has a weird fascination (man crush) with Cameron Ling from Geelong, but besides that appears normal. A great asset.

Deanne Chester - Jill of all trades. We are very lucky to have Deanne who can cover so many bases within the business. Whether it is serving at the front counter, handling all of our administration, helping me with our online and print marketing strategies, Accounts Receiveable, relief Graphic Designer, and the list goes on. A real Team player, who may end up decking one of the Team for taking Petty Cash out of her tin without filling out the slip they are supposed to.

Belinda Craig - Our accounts and payroll lady. Currently trying to move around on crutches after trying to pull off some Netball moves that an 18 year old would in a body that is (slightly) older than 18. Does a fantastic job in cashflow management and always ensures everyone is paid on time and correctly. Works in very well with me, that is never an easy task.

Daniel Jones - Our gun designer. If you need someone who can take a vague an blubbering excuse for a design brief from me, and turn it into a design that wows the client, then you know you have talent on your hands. And Daniel has it in bucket-loads. Spends a lot of time and money mixing and drinking power shakes to try to put on some weight, putting on a few kilos, going on holidays and losing the kilos, and then starting all over again.

Royce Martin - an absolute gun in Production who is a great assistant to Shane. If you need 15 jobs done in the time it would normally take to do 10, then Royce is your man. A real asset since he joined us last year and is absolutely blossoming. Loves to tinker and pull things apart and work out how they work. A man of many talents.

Craig Mason - thats me. The glory boy who collects the accolades. Creates elaborate business systems that work well, but is always the first one to circumvent the system and annoy everyone by doing so. Tries to tie the above Motley Crew in to a great, tight knit team. Still love what I do 10 years in.

Again, our business would be nothing without  a great and loyal customer base. It is you guys who feed our families, and I thank you for your wonderful support.

We also have a great bunch of suppliers who always do a great job and make us look good. You know who you are and I thank you for your efforts.

And lastly to our families. You guys make this all possible with your unwavering support, and make all of the effort required worthwhile.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
